Norway vs Ivory Coast LIVE
Norway take on the Ivory Coast this evening looking to reach the last 16 of the FIFA World Cup. Stale Solbakken heavily rotated his side in their final Group I match against France, which was effectively a dead rubber as both teams had already secured their qualification to the knockout stages. That said, it would have been a straight shootout for top spot, but Solbakken, the forner Wolves boss, decided to make 10 changes and rest all his stars.
Didier Deschamps did not, and France, the 2022 finalists, ran out comfortable 4-1 victors. You would expect the likes of Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard to come back in here, as Norway take on a tricky Ivorian side that pushed Germany to the limits and beat a difficult Ecuador side in the group stage.
Emerse Fae is the Elephants’ manager, and he has plenty of talent to call upon, including Manchester United’s Amad Diallo and Liverpool transfer target Yan Diomande on the opposite flank. Keep up to date with all the latest from the AT&T Stadium with our live blog below.

These two nations have never played each other before in a senior men’s international.
Standard Sport prediction
16:00 , Oli Gent
Expect an entertaining and dramatic game - one likely to be decided by Haaland, who has looked as deadly as usual at this tournament so far.
He should add to his four-goal tally and put Norway through to the last 16.
Pepe, Amad and Diomande are likely to hit back plenty, but the Ivorians’ defence may let them down in the end.
Norway to win, 4-2.
