Fewer than two months ago, I was soaked through my 'waterproof' jacket in Iceland, thinking about the impact Norton's all-new Atlas Apex was about to have on the middleweight adventure class. The bike is loaded with tech, costs less than almost all of its competition, and features a particularly peppy 585cc—unusual in the class.
As excited as I was to keep riding the Atlas in Iceland, I was just as eager to see how the markets would react when it went on sale. Now, the wait is over.
