Drivers have been warned they could have their vehicles seized after plans for a second car meet in a Northumberland town were shared on social media.
Northumbria Police have said they are aware of a planned event in Tyneview Retail Park in Prudhoe on May 21, following on from a similar event on Sunday, May 1 that saw police deploy a plane to assist the response.
Despite the attendance of hundreds of cars, no arrests were made and police said the event passed "without incident."
However, the force has now warned that it will take action against dangerous drivers and encouraged the public to report any issues.
A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police said: "We are aware of a planned car rally which is due to take place in Prudhoe on May 21.
"A dispersal notice will be put in place in the area and anyone who drives in an anti-social manner will be asked to leave and could risk having their vehicle seized.
"A proportionate policing response will be in place and we’d ask anyone who witnesses dangerous driving, or drivers using excess speed to get in touch, and report it. We would also people to submit any dashcam footage via the portal on our website."
The post published on social media and seen by the local democracy reporter service warns attendees to stick to the rules and claims the meet will be "strictly static."
The post continues: "Dangerous driving will be reported. Don't be the minority that ruins it for the majority."
Following the event earlier this month Gordon Stewart, who represents the Prudhoe South ward on Northumberland County Council, urged the organisers to work with officials for safety reasons.
Coun Stewart said he was disappointed a second event had been planned without any discussion with the authorities or landowners.
He said: " have been made aware of this planned meet by several residents from my ward, concerned about noise and poor driving, and I have had discussions with the landowner and the police.
"I am disappointed that the so-called organisers have not been in contact with the authorities, and I’m concerned that they are playing lip service in relation to road safety and anti social behaviour such as noise. No -one wants to spoil the enjoyment of the attendees but the safety of the public is being ignored by those setting up the event, and I would again ask them to enter into discussions."
