A Northumberland farm is set to host a tea party for dogs to celebrate the birthday of its beloved farm dog.
Northside Farm in Horsley, 13 miles from Newcastle city centre, is hosting Tess's Tea Party on February 5 from 11am. The "pup-up" café is a one day only event in Northside's restored barn, which usually hosts couples on the happiest day of their lives!
But brides and grooms are being swapped out for one day so that dogs and owners can dine together, with afternoon teas for owners and doggie bags and pupperchinos for their four-legged friends. The farm is offering owners the chance to mingle on their Northside Nature Trail walk or get competitive on the "have-a-go" dog agility course.

Olivia Lockey, owner of Northside Farm, said: "We thought this would be a fun way for people to spend an afternoon with their family including their dogs, we are crazy about our pets here at Northside and know that they really are part of the family.
"What better way to celebrate Tess than with her favourite things, walks, playing and treats. So we thought why not invite other pups and their families to Northside to enjoy what we have on offer?"
It's not the first time Northside has strayed from weddings, with comedy shows and psychic nights in the past. And it's not even the only "pup-up" café in the North East taking place in February - Revolution is hosting breed-specific dog Valentine's events for popular breeds including dachshunds, doodles, pugs and frenchies.
Tess's Tea Party event at Northside Farm, Horsley, takes place on Sunday February 5 from 11am. Tickets cost £20 for one adult and dog, £12 per child and £5 for additional pups. For more information, visit the Northside Farm website.
