A care home worker is facing disciplinary action after engaging in a relationship with a resident.
The member of staff at a care home in Northumberland was suspended immediately after care home bosses were made aware of the allegations on April 24.
An investigation was carried out and found that a consensual relationship took place between the staff member and a temporary resident, who is understood to have full mental capacity.

Operated by Roseberry Care Services, care home bosses have contacted the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Northumberland County Council.
A spokeswoman for Roseberry Care said: "The welfare of our residents is our primary concern and we do everything we can to ensure they are looked after in the best way possible while under our care.
"As soon as Roseberry was made aware of this serious allegation, we suspended the member of staff involved and launched an investigation.
"We have also informed the CQC and the local authority of the issue and the action we are taking. That investigation has now concluded and the staff member concerned is subject to disciplinary proceedings."
A spokeswoman for the CQC confirmed they had been notified about the incident.
She added: "We have been in contact with them and they have responded appropriately."
A Northumberland County Council spokesperson said: "We are making enquiries into this report."
