Australia's biggest goldminer is unlikely to meet its already-downgraded production guidance given ongoing problems at its Super Pit mine next to Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

Northern Star said on Friday its best estimate was it would produce more than 1.5 million ounces of gold in 2025/26, but achieving even the lower end of its revised production guidance of 1.6-1.7 million ounces would be challenging.
