Northern Ireland along with the rest of the UK has been experiencing warmer temperatures than usual this October.
The Met Office has explained that warmer temperatures over recent days is due to 'warm air being pushed north across Europe as the jet stream moves'.
The hottest temperature recorded in NI this month so far was 18.9C at Murlough, Co Down. The mean temperature across the region so far this month is 10.7C and an average daily maximum of 13.8C.
