A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms and heavy showers has been issued across Northern Ireland.
The Met Office has put the warning in place for Monday, May 8, from 12noon to 9pm across the whole of the country. It has been said that heavy showers and thunderstorms may lead to some localised disruption.
Monday is a Bank Holiday in Northern Ireland for the King's Coronation which took place on Saturday, May 6.

A Met Office forecaster said: "Heavy showers are expected to develop by the afternoon across Northern Ireland, aided by daytime heating. These may turn heavy and thundery at times, with a risk of hail. The heaviest showers are most likely in the east of the Province. Totals of 30-40mm in a couple of hours are possible."
