The Education Authority has warned parents that there may be disruption to some areas of school life in the coming week.
Industrial action by Unite the Union is planned from Monday March 21 until Sunday March 27, and will impact some education and youth services, the EA says.
They added that whilst the majority of schools, youth and other EA services are expected to operate as normal or with minimal disruption, it is likely that the "strike action will have an impact on some transport, school meals and cleaning services".
