Northern Ireland school pupils told they don't have to wear masks after Easter

Assembly

School pupils will no longer have to wear face coverings anywhere in school after Easter, it was announced today.

Education Minister Michelle McIlveen announced the update to policy on the wearing of masks in a written statement to the Assembly on Friday.

She says the change in policy means “post-primary pupils [are] no longer being recommended to wear a face covering on school premises”.
