Northern Ireland households will receive £400 energy payments in November, Prime Minister confirms

The Prime Minister has confirmed Northern Ireland households will receive a £400 energy bill discount in November.

Appearing on BBC NI's Evening Extra programme, Liz Truss confirmed the payments would be backdated to October to coincide with the roll-out of other payments in the UK.

However, Ms Truss did not confirm an exact date for the payments to be made.
