Home heating oil prices in Northern Ireland have increased by more than 25% in the past three weeks. This is the equivalent of more than £100 on 500 litres of heating oil.
The Consumer Council's weekly heating oil survey shows prices in Northern Ireland have again breached £1 per litre, more than twice the ten-year average.
It comes as SSE Airtricity and Electric Ireland have also announced massive price hikes to come into effect from October 1.
