Families of children entitled to free school meals will receive a school holiday food grant this summer, it's been announced.
Education Minister Michelle McIlveen said the payment will help to ensure that 100,000 children and young people can continue to access food during their summer break.
The scheme will run from July 1 to August 31, 2022, and will provide financial assistance to families whose children were entitled to a free school meal during term time and eligible at the end of June 2022.
