During the Cost of Living crisis increasing energy prices have had a huge impact on households across Northern Ireland.
While there has been some relief for households with the £600 energy payments, there are many who are having difficulty with the costs for electricty and heating in their homes.
Compared to last year, households are paying an additional £100 per year for their electrcity and even more for their gas.

In order to help our readers decide what the best suppiler for them is, Belfast Live has created a summary of the most recent prices from January 1, 2023, from the Consumer Council's price comparison tables.
There are some suppilers who offer 12 month discounts for switching to their accounts, with rates increasing after this time.
