Next week, Liam will travel to Liverpool's home ground, along with his mum Natasha and dad Alistair, to watch the team train, and to have breakfast with some of the players.
Speaking to Belfast Live, Natasha said: "Liam is unfortunately going to be wheelchair bound because of the damage, he will be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He can't talk but he communicates with his hands and his smile says it all when he sees everybody. He is such a pleasant boy.
"He knows he is going to Anfield, and as soon as he found out, his wee face lit up. He can make noises, and he let a yell out of him.
"We are going over to meet the players, and to watch them train too. Liam just loves Klopp, loves him. He also loves Van Djik and Salah, they are his top players.
"When we told him that it was happening, it brought tears to our eyes, because he still has that love for his team and for football. That was his dream.
"Now this has been around five years in the making, the Make-A-Wish. It is very exciting for us all. We can't wait and we know he will be in his element.
"Liam just knows what is happening, and gets excited every time we talk about it. He has everything Liverpool, his bedroom is Liverpool and he has so many signed things.
"I must admit, Liverpool Football Club has been fantastic since the accident. They have sent Liam so many signed tops and other things. We can't thank them enough."
Natasha says for Liam to meet team members, it doesn't get any better for her son.
His dream was once to play football for Liverpool and he says for any child who wants a wish to come true, Make-A-Wish is "just fantastic"..
"If he sees Liverpool on TV, Liam is shouting at the screen," she added.
"We just cannot wait to see what he's like when he actually meets the players in real life. It will be magical for Liam, and for us as parents too."
