North Melbourne have stood down midfielder Tarryn Thomas after they were made aware of fresh allegations about his behaviour by the AFL's integrity unit.
The club released a statement on Wednesday evening saying that Thomas will take time away from the club after the integrity unit informed North Melbourne of a new allegation of inappropriate behaviour on Wednesday afternoon.
"In light of this new information, Thomas will remain away from the club while the AFL gathers further information about the allegations," the statement read.
