North Korea welcomes Lukashenko with ceremony in Pyongyang

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Pyongyang on Wednesday for an official visit that includes talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

He was welcomed at the airport by senior official Kim Tok Hun before attending a formal reception ceremony featuring a guard of honour and military parade in Kim Il Sung Square.

Lukashenko later met Kim during the event and greeted North Korean officials. As part of the visit, he also laid a wreath at the Liberation Monument to honour Soviet soldiers.

The visit highlights ongoing diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
