North Korea honours soldiers killed fighting for Russia in Ukraine with new museum

North Korea has inaugurated a memorial museum in Pyongyang for its soldiers killed while fighting for Russia against Ukraine.
The ceremony, held on Sunday, was attended by leader Kim Jong Un and top Russian officials, including State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin and Defence Minister Andrei Beloussov.
South Korea's intelligence service estimated that North Korea deployed approximately 15,000 troops to the conflict, with about 2,000 casualties.
Kim Jong Un pledged North Korea's full support for Russia's sovereignty and security policies, while Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a letter, highlighted strengthening their comprehensive strategic partnership.
The increased military cooperation, involving North Korean troops and weapons for Russia, has raised concerns among South Korea and the US about potential transfers of high-tech military technologies.
