The North East is in for a largely cloudy end to the week, with Thursday and Friday bringing a mixed bag of sunny spells and light showers.
According to the latest forecast from the Met Office, patchy cloud will set in tonight with some fog possible in the morning and lows of -1°C. Thursday will be mostly dry across the region, with chances of some glimpses of sunshine - although you may also see isolated showers, with temperatures set to hit highs of 6°C.
