Although Monday means the start of another working week, the warm and sunny weather will likely put a smile on many faces.
The Met Office is predicting that Monday, August 8 will be a largely sunny day with temperatures reaching 22°C in Newcastle by the afternoon. The rest of the week is also looking good, remaining dry with sunshine and clouds going into Tuesday.
The official forecasters at the Met Office said: "A mixture of patchy cloud and sunny spells, especially during the afternoon. Remaining dry and feeling warmer, with light winds. Maximum temperature 24 °C.
