Get your sun hat and bikini out as the glorious weather has finally arrived. Tuesday will be dry and warm with some lovely, long spells of sunshine. Winds will mainly be light.
However, it will be cloudier by the end of the afternoon with a chance of heavy rain in the far west. The maximum temperature will be 22 °C.

Tonight, there will be a band of occasionally heavy rain moving eastwards during the evening. This should clear after midnight to leave dry conditions and partly cloudy skies.
It will also be breezy over the hills for a time and the minimum temperature will be 6 °C.
Nationwide forecasters say a plume of warm air from the Continent is set to make Tuesday the hottest day of the year so far, with highs of 26°C or 27°C expected in the south-east of England.
