North East weather: An hour-by-hour forecast for Monday 30 and Tuesday 31

People across the North East can expect dry and sunny weather.

According to the Met Office, there there will be sunny spells throughout the day on Monday. It will be windy at first but will ease gradually from the west.

The temperature will reach a maximum of 9 °C. A band of rain will quickly move southwards overnight, accompanied by strengthening winds.
