An award winning luxury holiday park in the North East has been put up for sale.
Vindomora Country Lodges, a collection of five star holiday lodges based along the River Derwent on the Northumberland and Durham border, have been brought to the market by specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co.
The lodge park is based in a 1.18-acre site just outside of Ebchester and has eight luxury timber lodges, all with a private hot tub and barbecue area. The grounds also feature a club house and two self-contained apartments within the building.

David Lee, regional director, hotels at Christie & Co, who is handling the sale, says the lodge park will attract interest as it makes an ideal base for visitors looking to explore the historic Northumberland countryside, local attractions such as Beamish Museum and Slaley Hall, and nearby Newcastle and Durham.
Vindomora has also won several awards including Gold Winner: Accessible & Inclusive Award and Bronze Winner: Camping, Glamping & Holiday Park of the Year in the North East England Tourism Awards 2022.
Mr Lee said: “Vindomora Country Lodges park was developed four years ago following the vision of a local man who wanted to provide luxury accommodation in beautiful surroundings.
“Since their opening, the lodges have built up an excellent reputation, despite trade being disrupted by the pandemic. However, the business hasn’t yet reached it’s full potential and presents an excellent opportunity for a more experienced owner to take it forward and we look forward to hearing from interested parties.”
