Thousands of people will be heading into Newcastle this weekend with outdoor events including UK Pride and Ladies Day taking place in the city.
But a week which started with record-breaking temperatures is expected to be a lot cooler as we head into the weekend. On Friday, the Met Office predicts that temperatures will be cooler than average.
Early forecasts suggest that Saturday will become "wet and windy" as the day progresses, which is set to continue into Sunday.
