NEW DELHI: North Delhi Municipal Corporation has identified 77 hotspots that reported the maximum number of dengue cases last year and initiated action.
“Taking note of the rise in dengue cases in the city, we have identified crucial points where the chance of mosquito breeding is high. In Delhi, 200 hotspots have been identified, of which 77 come under the north corporation,” said commissioner Sanjay Goel. An official has been deployed for seven-eight hotspots and asked to prevent waterlogging/any other lapse.
