North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum is set to accompany Donald Trump to court today in his Manhattan hush money trial, as per a source familiar with the plans disclosed to source. The presence of Burgum alongside Trump has sparked speculation that he is being considered as a potential running mate for the former president.

Joining the ranks of those under consideration for the vice-presidential role is Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, who was also seen attending court with Trump on Monday. The presence of both Burgum and Vance at Trump's trial indicates the significance of their roles in the political landscape and their potential ties to Trump's future endeavors.
