A voter in the battleground state of North Carolina brought much-needed levity to Election Day by joking that his relationship was on the line if he didn't vote.
"I wasn't going to vote at all until my girlfriend was blowing up my phone, telling me to go vote and if I didn't, she was going to break up with me," Bryan Flores told CNN during a live news segment from Charlotte, shared to X on Tuesday.
After being questioned about the ultimatum, he then added he was just kidding.
"I made that up, she didn't say that but it's funny to say," Flores shared while laughing.
At his girlfriend's behest, Flores said he voted for Kamala Harris this year and for Joe Biden in 2020.
