DUP North Belfast Belfast Football

The 'shared space' status of a North Belfast community facility has been questioned by a councillor.

The comments came during a dispute at City Hall over a council initiative at the Girdwood Community Hub which saw Fred Cobain say he had “difficulty calling it a shared space programme”.

The Castle DUP Councillor made the remarks at a Belfast City Council committee meeting which was receiving an update on the Girdwood Community Hub 'Shared Space and Youth Management' proposal by the council.
