So many people deserve recognition for the special and selfless things they do for our wonderful city and its people.
So we were delighted to join forces with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines to launch a competition to reward the very many people in the Liverpool City Region who go that extra mile to make a difference to our communities.
So far we've received nominations from across the city and, with 30 cruises to give away, if there is an unsung hero in your community now is your chance to help them gain the recognition they deserve and see them rewarded with the holiday of a lifetime.
You can enter the competition here or use the form at the end of the story
Don't hesitate to put forward the name of someone you think has had a positive impact on your community, we want to hear your stories no matter how big or small. There are no strict guidelines on what makes a winner so get in touch before entries close at midnight on Thursday, May 18.
This month the ECHO caught up with some of those nominated by friends and family to hear about the work they are doing to make their community a better place. Nicola Hooton nominated Ann Coffey, a retired headteacher from Crosby, who founded the Sunshine Breast Cancer Support Group.
Samuel Robbins-Wells nominated Michael Skelly, who runs creative arts organisation Connect Studios, in Seaforth, which gives young people a chance to become involved in the arts while focusing on their health and wellbeing.
Please fill in the form below to be in with a chance of winning a holiday for your hero.
