For passengers arriving at and departing from Noida International Airport on Monday, taxis proved to be a reliable mode of transport, easing concerns over connectivity to the greenfield airport, which is located around 65km from Noida Sector 18 and 40km from Pari Chowk. With Uber, Ola and Rapido setting up booths inside the terminal, and two premium cab operators stationed in the parking area, travellers had more options than many had anticipated, according to Shafaque Alam's Times of India report.
Among budget aggregators, fares to Sector 18 were broadly in the Rs 1,000 –1,200 range. Ola listed rides at Rs 1,051 for a mini, Rs 1,151 for a prime sedan and Rs 1,322 for prime plus. Uber displayed fares of Rs 851 for Go Priority and Rs 1,215 for Premier XL.
