Noel Gallagher has once again dismissed any hopes of an Oasis comeback in a recent interview, as his long-running feud with brother Liam continues.
But despite the revelation of no reformation, the 55-year-old High Flying Birds frontman announced that new material from the beloved Britpop band is on its way.
Oasis split in 2009, after tensions between Noel and younger brother Liam, 50, reached boiling point and erupted in monumental fashion. As the band readied themselves for the Rock En Seine festival in Paris, a last-minute argument broke out - leading to the appearance being pulled, along with the rest of their tour at the time.

Since then, the Gallagher brothers have both focused on their own retrospective careers - with Liam forming Beady Eye before moving onto his self-named solo project, while his brother broke out with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. In that time span, the two have also completely avoided each other, exchanging words of discontent for one another in the media and online.
And it was hoped that the long-running family feud would finally be resolved as of recent - with Liam taking to Twitter to announce: It's happening," when probed on an Oasis reunion. After hearing the news, Noel went on to say: "He should get his people to call my people; they know who they are, they know where we are.
"Stop talking on the f***ing internet, and let’s see what you’ve got to say."
But any signs of a future performance including the two was sharply dismissed by the older brother recently, during an interview with Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera. Speaking to the publication, he said: "But there won't be a tour, we won't come back to play them together."
It comes as the 30-year anniversary of debut album Definitely Maybe comes around next year, with Noel confirming that he had found some old and unreleased versions of tracks from the recording phase of 1994 in the Sony archives. On the tracks, he said: "We have found some tapes dating back to those sessions. We thought they were lost, but they were just mislabeled.
"They are amazing... There are some wonderful versions of those songs, some in acoustic version."
Elsewhere, Noel also said that he wouldn't play the coronation for King Charles if he was asked to. He added: “They didn't ask me and I wouldn't do it anyway. Many refused to participate. My generation doesn't care about the royal family.
"We loved the queen who was already there when we were kids, but the rest is stuff for American tourists."
