Noel Gallagher has hinted that another Oasis tour could be on the cards for next year.
The iconic Britpop band set the internet ablaze in 2024 when they announced that they would be going on tour the following year - the first time since the band split in 2009.
Their ‘Live 25’ tour saw the band embark on a 41-long run of shows around the UK and the world, beginning in Cardiff on 4 July, and concluding in Sao Paulo, Brazil on 23 November.
However, the band could be poised to hit the road once again, if a telling recent interview with Noel is anything to go by.
Appearing on talkSPORT’s Drive on Tuesday, 2 September, the older Gallagher brother was grilled on rumours that the band would be going on tour in 2027.
“It’s Liam, isn’t it? He’s not into it. He’s not into Oasis anymore,” joked Noel to host Andy Goldstein.
When Goldstein asked him about Liam’s recent decision to quit social media, Noel replied: “Well, then there must be something happening,”
“Well, let’s put it this way: there’s no football tournament next year, so we’ve got to do something in the summer, right?”
Oasis have not officially confirmed a return to touring, however rumours have been flying that the iconic 90s band will hit the road in 2027.
Reports first arose in the Manchester Evening News, which claimed that the band were booking out the Etihad Stadium – home of the brothers’ beloved Manchester City FC.
“It will be 12 nights at the Etihad Stadium across May and June. It's just massive for Manchester and for the local economy,” a source told the outlet.
“They could even add more dates to that as well, there's talk of up to 20. The wider tour is also going to include a return to Knebworth.”
30 years ago, the band played two legendary shows in Hertfordshire, which sold out in under 24 hours and saw them welcome 250,000 fans.
