Headliners for next year's Hardwick Festival have finally been announced, and it's good news for indie and Britpop fans.
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will top the bill come Sunday, 20 August 2023, the most recent to join the three-day line-up, which will also see The Kooks headline the night before.
The Vaccines, Mel C and Nieve Ella will also feature on the Saturday, while Johnny Marr, The Cribs, and local lad Andrew Cushin will all take to the stage before Gallagher on the Sunday.

Teesside Live reports that the Sunday extravaganza will see a set jam packed with Noel's own material, as well as a handful of Oasis anthems. The announcement also follows on from the recent well-received release of brand-new single 'Pretty Boy'.
The Kooks on the other hand have been together for almost 20 years, and have a huge repertoire of past songs such as Naive, She Moves In Her Own Way, and Always Where I Need To Be. There is no doubt that an abundance of their most faithful followers will save the date.
Saturday also marks the return to the festival of former Spice Girl, Melanie C along with indie rock band, The Vaccines who will be performing their whole catalogue including 'If You Wanna' and 'Wreckin' Bar'. Due to unprecedented demand, organisers of the festival have now added an additional day to the festival.
Friday, August 18 will start with Hacienda Classical curated by Graeme Park, Mike Pickering and the Manchester Camerata Orchestra as well as the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club. These are the first names of what will eventually be a 50-strong line-up of performances across the entire event.
John Adamson, the owner of Hardwick Hall, said: "It's a huge coup for us to bring Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds to Hardwick along with a really amazing range of performers across the entire three days. We believe this is going to be one of our strongest and most exciting Hardwick Festivals to date."
Tickets are on sale now with several packages available including weekend passes, single-day tickets, glamping and camping. All prices are available here.
