'Nobody can be weak', says Latvian Prime Minister over Russia threats

Latvian Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs says the EU must “remain strong” in the face of Russian aggression, insisting that “the one who prepares for the worst has peace” in an exclusive interview with Euronews.

Kulbergs said European politicians have a “clear understanding” of the Russian threat and a “commitment” to security, even though wider society is “still behind”.

For Kulbergs, there is only “one way” to deal with Russia: “to deter it by force”.
