Noah Woods fundraiser passes £20k target as support pours in for three-year-old’s family

  • An online crowdfunding campaign established by the Good Dads Club to support the family of three-year-old Noah Woods has surpassed its £20,000 target within hours of being launched.
  • The community appeal was created following the tragic discovery of a child's body in Decoy Pond in Brantham, Suffolk , located just 350 yards from where the toddler was last seen.
  • Noah, who was non-verbal and partially deaf, went missing on Tuesday afternoon after becoming separated from a relative near a local playground.
  • More than 1,300 local volunteers joined emergency services, search-and-rescue units, and specialist dive teams in a desperate round-the-clock effort to locate the boy.
  • Superintendent Tom Pearse of Suffolk Police praised the overwhelming public response and solidarity, while appeal organisers requested that the family be granted privacy to grieve.
