Premier League pundit Garth Crooks has insisted that there is 'no way' that Dean Henderson will replace David de Gea at Manchester United after the end of his Nottingham Forest loan.
The 25-year-old has been ever-present for the Reds so far this season in the Premier League after arriving at the City Ground during the summer transfer window. In matches against Brighton and Hove Albion and Liverpool, the goalkeeper has made 14 saves and kept back-to-back clean sheets as Forest picked up four points over the last week.
Those pair of matches are two of four times already this campaign that Henderson has made seven saves in a match, the other occasions being on the opening weekend against Newcastle United and in the 1-1 draw at Everton. For Forest, Crooks envisions him becoming an 'exceptional goalkeeper' but shouldn't hold out hope of usurping De Gea at Old Trafford.

"He's had good games before, but nothing quite as important or as impressive as his performance against the former European champions," Crooks said in picking Henderson as the goalkeeper in his team of the week for BBC Sport.
"Liverpool should have won this fixture and would have done if it hadn't been for Dean Henderson. While the Manchester United loanee has been at Nottingham Forest, he's saved a penalty, clawed balls off the line and against Liverpool saved Forest from certain defeat.
"The difficulty for Henderson is there is no way he is going to replace David de Gea at United, but I can see him becoming an exceptional goalkeeper at Forest. After all, it didn't do Peter Shilton any harm."
