No traces of tigers in Visakhapatnam forests

VISAKHAPATNAM AP National Tiger Conservation Authority NTCA

VISAKHAPATNAM: There are no traces of Tigers in undivided Visakhapatnam forests as the forested areas in the district are never a Tiger Zone.

The forest department officials came to a preliminary conclusion that there are no tigers through the Tiger Census.

The National Tiger Conservation Authority is conducting the Tiger Census and forest officials have conducted a one-month exercise as part of it.
