The inaugural Women's Premier League (WPL) saw not many Indian players putting up stand-out performances, with Mumbai Indians' batting coach Devieka Palshikaar expressing confidence that they won't face undue pressure in the upcoming second season beginning on February 23.
In the previous WPL season, Harmanpreet Kaur and Saika Ishaque showcased notable performances for the Mumbai team. Kaur emerged as the top scorer with 281 runs, while Ishaque excelled as MI's leading bowler with 15 wickets.
