A man accused of murdering a teenager whose remains were found in Tasmanian bushland has yet to enter a plea more than four months after being charged.
Christopher Mark Jordan, 37, briefly appeared via video link in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
He was charged in late July with one count of murder following the discovery of Shyanne-Lee Tatnell's body near a bush track in the state's northeast.
The 14-year-old was last seen alive in late April near the North Esk River in the city of Launceston.
Searches of the river found no trace of the teenager, before a fresh police operation in late July near Nabowla, northeast of Launceston, uncovered her remains.
The operation involved about 180 people and was the biggest search in northern Tasmania.
Jordan, who has appeared in court several times since being charged, didn't enter a plea with the matter adjourned to December 20.
It is alleged Jordan murdered Shyanne-Lee on April 30 at Scottsdale in northeast Tasmania.
Jordan is also facing separate charges of failing to comply with ammunition storage requirements and possessing a controlled plant and prohibited import.
He was remanded in custody.
