The 49ers’ win over the Chargers on Sunday night was supposed to be a coming out party for an offense that, for the first time, would have a fully-integrated Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk and Elijah Mitchell. Instead it was a choppy affair where San Francisco went two-for-five in the red zone and managed only 22 points.
One of the things that stood out after the game was the distribution of touches for the 49ers’ offensive weapons. Of the things from Sunday’s game to worry about moving forward, touches for offensive weapons shouldn’t be one of them. At least not yet.
