No Metro trains running after 5.15pm today

Tyne and Wear Metro Services have announced a system-wide service suspension from 5.15pm today until 8.15am tomorrow.

Metro tickets will be accepted on all local bus services during this time.

Customers are advised to seek alternative arrangements if they need to travel at the times affected, including making journeys later on Sunday morning.
