No black taxis in London within 20 years 'unless cabbies get financial help to stay behind the wheel'

Black taxis will become extinct in London within 20 years if cabbies continue to leave the trade at the current rates, a report revealed on Wednesday.

The report, by the Centre for London thinktank, warned that an iconic part of the capital’s transport system could be lost by 2045.
