One Nation's Victorian state leader has admitted to a past littered with "mistakes," but insists he has continued to receive support from Pauline Hanson.

At a press conference on Tuesday, Warren Pickering admitted to taking speed, ecstasy and marijuana before joining the Australian Defence Force at the age of 28.
