The entrance to 10 Downing Street has been transformed with vibrant sunflowers to show Britain’s solidarity with Ukraine on the nation’s Independence Day.
The yellow sunflowers and blue hydrangeas have been chosen in the national colours of Ukraine, and create a stunning arch over the prime minister’s residence in London.
Boris Johnson also offered his support to Ukraine on the 31st anniversary of its declaration of independence in 1991.
The anniversary falls exactly six months after Russian troops invaded the country.
