NME will once more grace magazine stands from this summer after five years of being an online-only product.
The music magazine will relaunch as a bi-monthly global print edition to showcase the best in music as well as insights from film, television, and tech.
A statement read: “The new incarnation of the magazine will entertain, inform and inspire entertainment obsessives and the wider industry by harnessing NME’s phenomenal, world-class journalism to galvanise the brand’s status as the world’s leading music and pop culture destination.”
New Music Express (NME) has been produced in some format since 1952 and has helped many a band and singer to break through, particularly if they featured on its coveted front page.
Since going web-only in 2018, NME has attempted to recreate this aspect with The Cover— an online profile of an artist, usually featuring a photoshoot and in-depth interview.
