Stumped on Christmas gift ideas, or looking for an excuse to get yourself a new Nintendo Switch OLED? This deal is a must-see.
It's rare to find deals on the Nintendo Switch OLED, but over the past month, we've seen a few price cuts courtesy of Black Friday. But if you missed out, fear not, as we're currently seeing significant discounts at the Nintendo Store.
Right now, if you pick up a Nintendo Switch OLED for £309.99 at the Nintendo Store, then you can pick up either Mario Kart Live or a physical copy of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, for free. Mario Kart Live usually comes in at £99.99 and Skyward Sword costs £59.99 - costs that you won't incur with these deals. Make sure you add the correct bundle to your cart for the discount to be applied.
We usually see stock for Nintendo Switch OLED and console deals run out very quickly, with Black Friday sales stock running out within hours of deals starting. If you're thinking about taking advantage of these discounts then be sure to act fast.
If you're still using the older Nintendo Switch model (no judgement here as I am too) then this deal may be the perfect opportunity to upgrade. The OLED model gives you a bigger screen, without increasing the size of the console, perfect blacks and better-quality speakers. If you're someone who plays in handheld mode often then this upgrade could be well worth it, but if you prefer to play docked then you may not really take note of these changes as much.
If you haven't heard of Mario Kart Live before, or you just aren't too familiar, then be aware that this is not a standard Mario Kart game. Instead, it lets you race a real-life, mini Mario in his Kart around courses in your home that you can build with the included accessories. If you don't have too much space in your home or you prefer to just sit in one place and chill while playing games then this might not be the game for you.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword was an iconic game back in 2011 when it was first released for the Wii. In 2021, it was remastered for the Nintendo Switch, coming out in HD. This is a single-player, story-mode, action-adventure game, so if you're more on the hunt for party games for your Nintendo Switch, then this might not be the one for you.
