Nintendo has officially unveiled the Switch 2. The reveal trailer went live on Thursday, January 16, which gave us our first look at the new Switch 2 design – there's a larger screen, new Joy-Con controllers, and a suite of other neat additions. We are covering all of the news live, right here.
The Nintendo Switch 2 reveal comes after weeks of leaks and speculation surrounding the new system. Naturally, there's a huge amount of interest in the new console – the original Nintendo Switch came out in 2017, and has become one of the best-selling consoles of all time. We are still sifting through all of the detail, but there's still a lot of questions to be answered: for example, is that Mario Kart 9 we're seeing in this reveal trailer, or just an example of Switch 2 backwards compatibility in action?
