Nintendo Super Family Restaurant Opens in Japan With 'Zelda,' 'Metroid,' Mario-Themed Dining Experience

Nintendo is turning another part of its world into something fans can actually step into. This time, it is food. The company is opening a themed restaurant called the Super Family Restaurant inside the Nintendo Museum in Uji, Japan. It is planned to open in autumn 2026 and is already getting attention from fans worldwide.

The name comes from the Super Famicom, the Japanese version of the Super Nintendo. But this is not just a nostalgic reference. It is part of Nintendo's bigger move into real-world experiences that bring its games beyond the screen.
