A hi-tech iPhone and iPad app has been launched at Ninewells Hospital to help youngsters during visits.

The technology is being used on Ward 30 - a specialist children’s surgical unit.

It is a one stop location that provides all the information needed by youngsters and their families before an operation or an anaesthetic.
