Nine arrested with tiger skin in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur, policeman's role under scanner

RAIPUR: A joint team from the forest department has arrested nine individuals with tiger skin in the Madded buffer range of the tiger reserve in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district.

The joint team consisted of members from the Indravati Tiger Reserve, Forest Division Bijapur, and the anti-poaching team of Udanti Sitanadi Tiger Reserve Gariaband. More arrests may be made as the involvement of certain policemen is coming to light in the case.
